  • Technology Help Desk: Your first point of contact for any technology-related issues or questions. Our Help Desk offers comprehensive support, including equipment loans and a rich library of training materials, all free of charge. Whether you need assistance with software, hardware, or university systems, our experts are ready to assist.
  • Classroom Technology Excellence: We ensure classrooms are equipped with the latest presentation and videoconferencing technology. Our team handles installation, maintenance, and provides training to faculty, enabling them to create engaging and interactive learning experiences leveraging superior learning technology.
  • ResNet for Residence Hall Students: Students living on campus benefit from ResNet, providing reliable data services and dedicated technical support within residence halls, ensuring seamless connectivity for studies and personal use.
  • Endpoint Support & Procurement: From hardware troubleshooting to software assistance, we offer comprehensive endpoint support. We also consult on and manage technology purchases, ensuring compatibility and compliance, guiding the university towards smart technology investments that enhance the learning environment.

Infrastructure and Security: The Backbone of Reliable Technology

This unit focuses on maintaining the robust and secure infrastructure essential for superior learning technology. They ensure constant access to university electronic resources and the internet, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.

  • System Administration Excellence: Our system administrators manage and maintain centralized computing resources, servers, and storage, guaranteeing the high availability and security of critical university applications like email, campus logins, and software updates. This ensures a stable and dependable digital environment for all users.
  • Network Administration and Connectivity: We manage campus-wide wired and wireless networks, VPN services, and network devices, ensuring high-speed, secure, and reliable connectivity across campus. This robust network infrastructure is fundamental for delivering superior learning technology and supporting modern learning methods.
  • Information Security and Protection: Cybersecurity is paramount. This team manages campus network and server security, develops and implements security policies, conducts regular security testing, and responds swiftly to any security events.   • Educational Application Innovation: We develop and maintain essential systems like the student information system (E-hive/PeopleSoft) and the document management system (ImageNow). Our team collaborates with student support offices and University Relations to provide custom software solutions and technical support, continuously improving the digital tools available to our community.
