As the head of this center, I am deeply committed to our mission of celebrating the unique tapestry of diversity within our community and catering to the individual needs of every child. At Fisher Early Learning Center, we firmly believe in offering a continuous journey of learning experiences that foster not only academic growth but also creativity and essential resilience in each child.
Our center provides a creatively stimulating and genuinely nurturing space where children, from infants embarking on their earliest explorations to Pre-Kindergarteners preparing for their next academic steps, can engage in play, discovery, and personal development. Our innovative approach to early childhood education is firmly rooted in research-backed methodologies and is brought to life by our exceptional team of educators. Collectively, our teachers and staff bring an impressive wealth of over 400 years of experience to the field of early childhood education, averaging 11 years per staff member. We are exceptionally proud of our team’s qualifications; 90% hold at least a bachelor’s degree, with 44% possessing at least one Master’s Degree, and a remarkable 41% are actively pursuing further education. Adding to our expertise, 6% of our staff have achieved doctoral degrees (PhD, EdD, or EdS). Our commitment to diversity extends to our staff’s linguistic abilities, encompassing not just English but also a rich array of languages including French, Spanish, Marathi, Hindi, Norwegian, Telugu, Japanese, Farsi, Igbo, Yoruba, Tagalog, and American Sign Language. This multilingual capability enriches our learning environment and allows us to connect with families from diverse backgrounds.
