Teacher Positions

As a Teacher at Bright Eyes, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds. You will be responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a collaborative teaching team. Teachers are curriculum leaders, working closely with team members and parents to assess individual child needs and implement engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications for Teacher Positions:

  • Minimum 1 year of licensed childcare experience.
  • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (AA) or equivalent qualifications (including 90-hour Preschool Course, supporting breastfeeding course, ADA certificate, Basic Health & Safety Course, Covid training, 9-hour communication course. Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification preferred, including 45-hour Infant & Toddler Course).

Aide Positions

Aide positions offer a fantastic entry point into the field of early childhood education. Aides support teachers in classroom activities, assist with child care, and ensure the safety and well-being of all children under our care. We are looking for individuals who are mature, responsible, motivated, and excellent team players.

Qualifications for Aide Positions:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
  • Dependable, reliable, and responsible.
  • Willingness to work with different age groups.
  • Ability to assist with diaper changing and support children’s needs.
  • Experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not required.

General Requirements for All Applicants:

  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Complete a physical examination and TB test.
  • Pass fingerprinting and a criminal background check.
  • Obtain or possess CPR & First Aid Certification (within 60 days of hire).
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Valid work permit if applicable.
  • Proof of relevant trainings and certifications if applicable.
  • Ability to complete required Early Childhood coursework online and in class.
  • Availability between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
