Participants will learn the basics of electrical circuits, using a simple coin battery to power an LED bulb and bring their flashlight to life. Adding to the excitement, the flashlight casings are 3D-printed, demonstrating cutting-edge technology in action. Digital Fabrication Experience by Fab Lab: Craft Your Golf Keepsake
Experience the future of making with the Digital Fabrication Experience by Fab Lab, a new addition to the TGR Learning Lab. Youth will get hands-on with cutting-edge technology, using laser cutters and Fab Lab’s CAD software to design and create a personalized ball marker to take home. This unique activity blends 21st-century digital fabrication techniques with the spirit of golf, offering visitors a special memento of their day at the Quicken Loans National and their time at the TGR Learning Lab.
Beyond the TGR Learning Lab Activity Zone, the Quicken Loans National offers even more for young attendees. The Family Village provides putt-putt, face painting, and other entertaining activities. Additionally, young golf enthusiasts can learn from a PGA TOUR Pro at a youth golf exhibition on the driving range at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27.
