Empowering Lives Through Holistic Support: Discover the Living and Learning Enrichment Center

The Living And Learning Enrichment Center is dedicated to a powerful mission: enabling teenagers and adults with disabilities to achieve their fullest potential in every facet of life – from meaningful work and fulfilling relationships to active community participation. Our vision is ambitious yet clear: to set a national benchmark for exceptional quality of life support for individuals with disabilities.

What truly distinguishes the Living and Learning Enrichment Center is our unique, holistic approach. While many organizations offer valuable services piecemeal – be it therapeutic interventions, social engagement opportunities, or vocational training – we intentionally integrate all of these essential components under one roof. This innovative model ensures that our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated support, tailored to their diverse needs and abilities. We are proud of the effectiveness of our model, which benefits individuals across a wide spectrum of abilities.

The Center offers a rich array of over 30 diverse programs designed to foster growth and independence. These encompass crucial social skills development, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, engaging summer camps, vital parent support networks, practical vocational skill building, and comprehensive job training and independent living skills programs.

Our commitment extends beyond programs to our physical environment. The Living and Learning Enrichment Center’s new 14-acre campus in Northville is a testament to our values of diversity and inclusion. Designed as a welcoming, park-like environment, it is open to the wider community. We envision it as a place where everyone feels welcome – to picnic, play, relax, and connect. Accessibility is paramount; our goal is to ensure every part of the campus is fully accessible to individuals with all types of disabilities. Furthermore, all events and activities hosted on our campus are thoughtfully structured to provide valuable job skills training and both short and long-term employment opportunities for people with special needs.
