Experience Nature’s Classroom. Wolf Ridge’s expansive 2,000-acre campus serves as an exceptional outdoor classroom. Nestled along the Baptism River, the diverse terrain encompasses creeks, two pristine lakes, and two prominent peaks, all interwoven with 18 miles of scenic trails. The land is covered by a vibrant mixed forest of maple, birch, and spruce, creating a haven for abundant wildlife. Visitors might encounter fascinating creatures such as pine martens, majestic eagles, moose, black bears, white-tailed deer, foxes, wolves, beavers, peregrine falcons, and loons, highlighting the rich biodiversity of the area. The facilities at Wolf Ridge are designed to enhance the learning experience, featuring five dedicated classroom buildings, comfortable dormitories, a dining hall, a raptor aviary, a well-stocked library, two auditoriums, exciting rock-climbing walls, challenging outdoor ropes courses, a working farm, and even access to land on the shores of Lake Superior.
