Learn@Illinois Moodle serves as the University of Illinois’ innovative and dependable digital learning environment. It is designed to accommodate a wide range of course formats, including face-to-face, blended, and fully online classes. This robust platform seamlessly integrates with tools from various third-party providers, enhancing the teaching and learning experience. At Learn@Illinois, we are dedicated to supporting instructors in effectively utilizing Moodle to create engaging and dynamic courses across all modalities.

Important Information Regarding Course Gateways

Please be aware of an important update for instructors within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS). Starting in Fall 2024, Canvas will become the mandatory gateway for all registrar-affiliated LAS courses. While Canvas will serve as the primary access point, instructors can still leverage the functionalities of Moodle by incorporating Moodle activities into their Canvas courses through the Moodle Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) tool. For detailed instructions and further information on this transition, please visit https://go.illinois.edu/MoodleToCanvas. This change ensures a streamlined experience while still allowing instructors to utilize familiar Moodle tools.
