To enhance the security measures against cyberattacks and better protect your information and the UW Health network, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is being implemented for the U Learn application starting April 21, 2022, at 5 p.m.
When accessing U Learn, you will encounter a new UW Health login page. This updated login process will require you to input an address for your username along with your account password. Please ensure you use the correct address for your username as prompted.
For users connecting to U Learn from outside the secure SMPH or UW Health network, a second layer of verification, known as multi-factor authentication, will be necessary to gain entry. This added step is vital for ensuring secure access from less secure networks.
To seamlessly access U Learn remotely, enrollment in the UW Health MFA service is mandatory. If you are not yet enrolled in MFA, please visit the UW Health U-Connect page for comprehensive instructions on how to complete your MFA enrollment.
Key Updates for U Learn Login
- U Learn will be temporarily unavailable for maintenance on April 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Remote access to U Learn requires mandatory enrollment in UW Health MFA. Enrollment details are available on this page.
- (Update) MFA prompts are not required when accessing U Learn within the SMPH or UW Health internal network for streamlined internal access.
- The updated login screen will specifically require an address format for your username for clarity and security.
- For optimal access and to prevent potential issues, UW Health advises using your web browser in incognito or private browsing mode when accessing the site.
