After 52 years of unwavering commitment, Kingsway Learning Center will be relocating its preschool, elementary, and secondary programs to a consolidated campus in Voorhees, New Jersey, for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Kingsway Learning Center’s Chief Executive Officer, Christine Robinson, expressed enthusiasm about this development, stating, “After 52 years of providing the highest quality of life for individuals with special needs, Kingsway is excited to expand our presence. The relocation to our new Voorhees campus is the first step in this exciting journey.” She also acknowledged the history at their previous locations, “Both our Haddonfield and Moorestown campuses have served us well, and we will forever treasure our time spent there.”
The new location for Kingsway Learning Center Nj is a spacious 73,000-square-foot office building situated at 1000 Voorhees Drive, conveniently located near Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees Township. This consolidation will bring together Kingsway’s preschool, elementary, and secondary programs, accommodating its 175 students under one roof. This modern facility is designed to enhance the learning environment and provide ample space for growth and program development.
Kingsway Learning Center has a long-standing reputation for providing individualized services tailored to students with learning and developmental disabilities. Serving students from over 60 sending districts, spanning from Cumberland to Mercer County, Kingsway Learning Center NJ plays a crucial role in the special education landscape of South Jersey. Previously, Kingsway operated from two campuses: a Haddonfield location at 144 Kings Highway West, housing preschool and elementary programs, and a Moorestown campus at 244 W. Route 38, dedicated to secondary education for students aged 14 to 21.
The decision to consolidate and relocate to Voorhees was driven by a need for expanded facilities. As Robinson explained, “Our secondary program, which opened just over a decade ago, quickly filled to capacity and requires more space to grow.” Furthermore, the Haddonfield building, which served the elementary program for over 40 years, was no longer ideally suited to meet the evolving needs of their student population, citing structural limitations. The move to the Voorhees location addresses these challenges, offering a modern and adaptable space for Kingsway Learning Center NJ to thrive and continue its mission.
