The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is now accepting submissions for the highly anticipated Learn Serve Lead 2024 Meeting, scheduled to take place from November 8-12, 2024. This premier event, known as Learn Serve Lead (LSL), serves as a vital platform for individuals dedicated to advancing academic medicine. It unites a diverse community of medical school and teaching hospital professionals across various campuses, disciplines, and missions.
A key component of the meeting is the call for submissions to the Research in Medical Education (RIME) section. RIME invites two types of submissions: Research Papers and Review Papers. The selection process aims to showcase a wide spectrum of work, encompassing diverse themes, institutions, and presenters within medical education.
Interested individuals are required to submit their RIME proposals online by 11:59 PM (EST) on December 1, 2023. It is advisable to draft proposals in a word processing application before pasting content into the online submission portal. Submission of an abstract signifies a commitment to attend and present at the meeting if accepted, acknowledging the associated travel and registration expenses. Notification of decisions will be sent to the submitting author in March 2024.
In accordance with evolving data protection regulations, all submitters must complete a CadmiumCD Privacy Policy consent form. This form clarifies how CadmiumCD, on behalf of AAMC, utilizes personal information for conference purposes. Data is not shared with third-party vendors unless explicitly directed by AAMC. Detailed information can be found in CadmiumCD’s Privacy Policy. Submitters wishing to remove their data post-conference can submit a request at https://cadmiumcd.com/mydata/. Requests made prior to the conference will prevent the submitter’s information from being used during the event.
