Denver Preschool Program (DPP) Partnership

Auraria Early Learning Center is a proud participant in the Denver Preschool Program (DPP), which aims to make high-quality preschool accessible to Denver families. DPP offers tuition credits for eligible families residing in the City and County of Denver with a 4-year-old child enrolled in preschool the year before they enter kindergarten.

Colorado Universal Preschool Program (UPK) Access

AELC also participates in the Colorado Universal Preschool Program (UPK). This statewide initiative provides funding to Colorado families with four-year-olds in their final year of preschool before kindergarten, helping to reduce tuition costs.

To determine eligibility and apply for funding, please visit the Colorado Universal Preschool Program website.

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) Acceptance

Auraria Early Learning Center accepts funding from the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) for families in Jefferson, Adams, Weld, Denver, and Arapahoe counties. MSU Denver students enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester, including summer, are eligible for CCAP support.

To utilize CCAP at AELC, parents must ensure their caseworker sends all necessary contract information to the center. AELC requires a Certificate of Authorization from the County Department of Human Services before a child can attend. Parents are also responsible for daily attendance tracking via the ATS (Attendance Tracking System). It’s important to note that families are responsible for parental fees as assigned by their caseworker and must adhere to CCAP guidelines regarding absences and payment deadlines to avoid additional charges.

For detailed information about CCAP, please refer to the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program website.

MSU Denver Student Childcare Subsidy Grant

MSU Denver student parents taking at least six credit hours (excluding online-only students) may be eligible for the MSU Denver Student Affairs Board childcare subsidy. This grant typically covers 30-50 percent of AELC tuition each semester, although the exact amount may vary based on funding availability.

Auraria Early Learning Center is committed to making quality early learning accessible through various financial assistance options. Contact us today to explore how we can support your family’s childcare needs.
