Kingsway Learning Center, a distinguished institution dedicated to providing exceptional education for special needs students, is embarking on an exciting new chapter. After 52 years of unwavering commitment to its mission, Kingsway Learning Center is thrilled to announce the relocation of its preschool, elementary, and secondary programs to a new, expanded campus in Voorhees, New Jersey. This move signifies a major step forward in Kingsway’s journey to enhance its services and create an even more supportive learning environment for its students.
“Kingsway Learning Center is excited to expand our presence and relocate to our new Voorhees campus,” stated Christine Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of Kingsway Learning Center. “Our Haddonfield and Moorestown campuses have been invaluable to our history, and we deeply appreciate the time spent at each location. However, this relocation to Voorhees allows us to consolidate our programs and offer enhanced facilities tailored to the evolving needs of our students.”
The new campus, situated at 1000 Voorhees Drive, occupies a spacious 73,000-square-foot office building, providing ample room for Kingsway Learning Center’s 175 students. This consolidation brings together the preschool and elementary programs, previously housed in Haddonfield, and the secondary school, formerly in Moorestown, onto one central campus. The move is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2018-19 school year, promising a seamless transition for students and families.
Kingsway Learning Center has long been recognized for its individualized approach to education, catering to students with learning and developmental disabilities from over 60 school districts across Cumberland and Mercer Counties and beyond. The relocation to Voorhees not only offers a larger, more modern facility but also underscores Kingsway’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of special needs education.

The decision to move to Voorhees was the result of a comprehensive, multi-year search conducted by Kingsway Learning Center’s administrative team. The need for expansion became increasingly apparent, particularly for the secondary program. “Our secondary program, established just over a decade ago, has experienced rapid growth and now requires additional space to accommodate our expanding student body,” Robinson explained. Furthermore, the Haddonfield building, which faithfully served the elementary program for over 40 years, presented structural limitations in meeting the changing needs of today’s students.
The Haddonfield building, originally the St. Mary of the Angels Academy, holds a rich history, but the move to Voorhees marks a necessary step towards providing state-of-the-art facilities. Kingsway Learning Center, founded in 1966 in a Cherry Hill church, has consistently adapted to meet the evolving needs of the special needs community.
“We eagerly anticipate making Voorhees Township our new home,” Robinson added. “Voorhees has a well-earned reputation as a welcoming and supportive community, and we are confident that this move will greatly benefit our students and enhance our ability to provide the highest quality education and support.” The relocation to Voorhees signals a bright future for Kingsway Learning Center and the special needs students it serves, promising an enriched learning experience in a modern and spacious environment.
