Growing up with a Gujarati heritage, I always felt a disconnect not being able to speak the language fluently. While my dad is Gujarati, I never actually learned the language from him. This became particularly apparent during visits to relatives overseas, where I often felt isolated due to the language barrier. This feeling was the real catalyst for me to seriously Learn Gujarati. I realized that if I didn’t take the initiative, no one else would make it happen for me.
