Students enrolled in service-learning courses commit to a minimum of 30 hours of service with a designated community partner throughout the semester. This immersive experience allows students to apply for supplementary funding and resources, amplifying their contributions to these organizations. Recognizing the sustained engagement of many students beyond the semester’s duration, these learning courses are designed to foster enduring connections between community organizations and university resources. Each year, substantial resources and support are allocated to over 100 faculty members and community partners, nurturing and sustaining these vital service-learning partnerships.
