Real-Time Student Results | Student Results for Completed Assignments
Real-Time Student Results: Monitoring Live Progress
To keep a pulse on student learning during a live session, navigate to the Active Assignments section on your Legends of Learning home screen. Clicking on the assignment name will transport you to the Student Data page, your hub for real-time insights into student progress and performance.

The Activities Bar: A Quick Assignment Overview
At the top of the Student Data page, the Activities bar presents a snapshot of the games and activities within your assignment. Each game is represented by a tile. Clicking on a game tile expands to reveal more detailed information about that specific activity, allowing you to focus on particular areas of the assignment.

The Student Table: Individual Student Progress at a Glance
Below the Activities bar, the Student Table offers a comprehensive view of each student’s journey through the assignment. This table dynamically updates in real-time, showing progress and performance data for every student who has started the assigned activities.

For each student, you’ll see their chosen avatar and name, providing immediate visual recognition.

Next to the avatar, a status indicator provides real-time information about student activity:

- Green Triangle: Student is actively engaged in the assignment, playing the games.
- Red Octagon: Student is present in the assignment but not actively playing. They may have switched browser tabs or are idle.
- Grey Circle: Student status is unknown, likely indicating they have signed out of the assignment.
The Student Data Table also visualizes activity progress. A purple progress bar beneath each activity illustrates how far each student has advanced within that specific game or task. Hovering over an activity provides a pop-up overview of student stats for that activity, including playtime and completion status.

Further to the right in the Student Table, you’ll find the Start Date and total Playtime for each student’s engagement with the assignment. The Progress Wheel offers a visual representation of overall assignment completion percentage. Crucially, note that the Progress Wheel reflects completion, not performance grade.

Student Management Buttons: Skip, Restart, and Performance
For each student, three action buttons are available, offering control over their assignment experience:
- Skip: Allows you to advance a student to the next activity. This can be used multiple times to move students forward as needed. Skipped activities are reflected in the activity completion stats when you hover over the activity icon.
- Restart: Forces a student to restart the entire assignment, clearing all their data and returning them to the beginning.
- Performance: Provides a detailed performance report for the individual student. This report breaks down their performance on each question and provides grades for assessments and Quiz Games within the assignment.
Question Results and Overall Class Performance
To analyze class-wide performance, click the Question Results button located at the top right of the Student Table.

The Question Results Report provides an overview of class performance, including the overall assignment grade, the percentage of students who answered each question correctly, and grades for individual assessments and Quiz Games.

Expand each question using the arrow to the left to view a detailed breakdown of student responses.

Filter the report by student groups or search for individual students to refine your analysis.
Managing Live Assignments: Pause, End, Edit, and More
The top of the Student Data page also houses several management buttons for live assignments:
- Pause: Freezes student screens, temporarily halting assignment access. Ideal for regaining class attention.

- End: Completely stops the assignment for all students. The assignment can be restarted later if needed.

- Edit Assignment: Allows you to modify assignment details like the name, dates, and assigned student groups. Found in the top right corner.

Clicking Student Instructions opens a pop-up with login options. Choose the desired method for student access.

The More menu includes options to:
- Send Link to Google Classroom: Directly assign the activity in Google Classroom.
- Send Scores to Google Classroom: Push current student scores to Google Classroom.
- Download Scores CSV: Download student scores and question results as a .csv file.
- Preview as a Student: Experience the assignment from a student’s perspective. Learn more about previewing assignments as a student here.
Completed Assignments: Reviewing Past Performance
To access student performance data for assignments that have already been completed, navigate to the My Assignments tab.

On the Assignments page, locate the desired assignment. Search by assignment name or filter by COMPLETED status for easy identification.

Clicking the Performance icon will direct you to the familiar Student Data page. Here, student performance data for the completed assignment is presented in the same format as for live assignments, as detailed in the Real-Time Student Results section above.
