Additional Fees
In addition to tuition, Monarch Learning Academy has several fees that support the operation and enrichment of our programs. These fees are essential for maintaining our high standards of education and providing a comprehensive learning experience.
- Commitment Fee: A one-time $150 commitment fee per child is required at the time of registration for Preschool. For Kindergarten through 8th grade, the commitment fee is $500. This non-refundable fee secures your child’s space at Monarch Learning Academy.
- Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration. For existing families, the fee is $150, and for new families, it is $200.
- Material Fee (Preschool): For Toddler and Two-Year-Old classes, the material fee is $250 for 2 or 3 days/week programs and $290 for 4 or 5 days/week programs. For Three and Four-Year-Old classes, the fee is $300 for 3 days/week and $350 for 4 or 5 days/week. These fees are due by June 15th.
- Curriculum and Technology Fee (Grades K-8): For Kindergarten through 5th Grade, the annual fee is $600. For 6th through 8th Grade, it is $700.
- Field Trip Fee (Grades K-8): Field trip fees vary by grade to cover the costs of enriching educational excursions. Kindergarten – 1st Grade: $125; 2nd – 4th Grade: $250; 5th Grade: $300; 6th – 7th Grade: $400; 8th Grade: $500. Please note that additional fees may be assessed if trip costs exceed planned amounts.
- 8th Grade Graduation Fee: An $300 fee applies to 8th-grade students to cover graduation expenses.
- Assessment Fee: A $200 assessment fee applies to new students in grades K-8 and is charged through FACTS.
FACTS Tuition Payment System
Monarch Learning Academy utilizes FACTS, a secure online tuition management system. All families are required to enroll in electronic tuition payments through FACTS. FACTS charges an annual $50 fee per family to manage accounts, which is applied at the time of application for new students.
Extended Care Program
To support our families’ diverse schedules, Monarch Learning Academy offers an extended care program before and after regular school hours. This program provides a safe and engaging environment for students.
- Hours: Available from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and from the end of the class day to 6:00 pm on school days only.
- Cost: $12 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments. Extended care fees are billed monthly through your FACTS account in the month following usage.
- Late Pick-Up Fee: A $35 late fee is charged for any pick-up after 6:00 pm.
- Account Status: Use of extended care may be restricted if your FACTS account becomes past due.
Late Payment and Returned Payment Fees
- Late Fee: A $25 late fee will be assessed to your FACTS account if it is 30 days past due.
- Returned Payment Fee: FACTS assesses a $30 fee for any returned payments. This fee is managed directly by FACTS, and Monarch Learning Academy is unable to intervene in these charges. Please contact FACTS directly with any questions regarding this fee.
