Starting February 1st, the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum are delighted to announce updated operating hours, offering both early birds and afternoon visitors more opportunities to explore the wonders of wildlife. Located at 2301 Coliseum Pkwy., the zoo and museum are adjusting their schedule to better serve guests and provide the best possible experience for everyone, including the animals in their care.

The new operating hours for the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. It’s important to note the last admission to the zoo will be at 3:30 p.m., allowing ample time for visitors to enjoy the exhibits before closing. For those specifically interested in the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, last admission will be slightly later at 4:00 p.m. To ensure a smooth and timely closure, all guests are kindly requested to exit the zoo grounds by 4:30 p.m.

For those looking to take home a memento of their visit, the zoo’s gift shop will also operate from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An exciting update for shoppers is that guests can now enter the gift shop without needing to purchase zoo admission. This provides a convenient opportunity to browse and buy unique gifts and souvenirs even if you’re not planning a full zoo visit.
