Orientation & Safety Training Access
Question: Can caregivers still complete their Orientation & Safety training on YouTube? If so, where should completions be reported?
Answer: Individual Providers (IPs) are required to complete their Orientation & Safety training through Workday. Agency Providers (APs) should check with their employers to confirm whether they should use the Caregiver Learning Center or the YouTube version for Orientation & Safety. If the Caregiver Learning Center is required but login issues occur, APs should contact their employer for assistance. Upon completion of Orientation & Safety, caregivers should notify their employers. For YouTube completions, employers are responsible for submitting an Orientation & Safety Completion Form to SEIU 775 Benefits Group on behalf of the caregiver. It is recommended to prioritize training via the Caregiver Learning Center whenever possible for streamlined tracking and comprehensive resources.
Training Notification Methods
Question: How are caregivers informed about upcoming training opportunities?
Answer: Caregivers receive notifications about training primarily via email. To ensure timely updates, it’s important to maintain an accurate email address on file. In addition to email, text messages are also utilized if phone contact information is available. This multi-faceted approach aims to maximize outreach and ensure caregivers are promptly informed about relevant training opportunities available through caregiverlearning.org and associated platforms.
Enrollment Information for Caregivers
Question: How do caregivers get the necessary details to enroll in training programs?
Answer: Caregivers will receive an email containing a direct link to enroll in available courses. To ensure broad accessibility and awareness, a comprehensive communication strategy is employed. This includes multiple channels such as email, automated phone calls (robocalls), text messaging, website updates, physical mail, and social media announcements. This multi-channel approach ensures caregivers have ample opportunity to receive enrollment information, regardless of their preferred communication method, and can easily access caregiverlearning.org for course enrollment.
Addressing Duplicate Profiles for Individual Providers
Question: Why are multiple profiles sometimes visible when searching for an Individual Provider (IP)?
Answer: The appearance of multiple profiles for the same Individual Provider is due to a system issue where the same profile is listed more than once. Rest assured that this is a display error, and efforts are underway to resolve this duplication problem and streamline the user experience on caregiverlearning.org. We are actively working on a solution to ensure a cleaner and more efficient search process in the future.
